Justin Knight and Team Shine.FM to run 200 miles for Africa!
I am running with Team World Vision & Team Shine.FM to help change lives in Africa. The needs are great, but I believe there is something we can do!
In May of 2012 I was privileged to be able to run with some good friends in Rwanda. We toured the country and got to see firsthand the need for clean water. Everywhere I went I saw children in search of water. It will always be etched in my mind, the day we visited a clean water spring that World Vision provided. The entire village greeted us with the elders singing in their native tongue, "this water is beautiful, this water is beautiful." They shared how life changed when they were able to get clean water. Sickness and disease went away and children could get educated because they now did not have to work all day to bring in water that would make their families sick. It was a great celebration and they were so thankful for the people who had given sacrificially to provide the clean water.
I now run, so others can drink clean water!
$50 provides clean water for 1 person. Will you help?
I am leading a team dedicated to changing lives with each step we run. We'll run 200 miles, from Hood to Coast, on August 23rd and 24th with a goal of providing clean water for 2,000 people in Africa. Each team member is striving to raise $10,000 so that when we complete the race a total of $100,000 will provide water for 2,000 people.
Will you make a tax-deductible donation to support my efforts? Together we can help change lives in Africa.
